Unable to locate 1945 vintage helmets for a Patriotic Re-enactment of the Flag Raising at Iwo Jima, I purchased 4 Army Helmets. As they were a child's size, we cut them in half, used duct tape and sponge painted them in a camouflage design. They were very sturdy and worked perfectly for our event!
