We ordered eight sets of 12 hats for a large beach event. 96 Hats were shipped quickly and arrived on time; they arrived undamaged as they were well-packaged in neat stacks and polybagged in sets of 12 within the four boxes.
The hats were great quality, perhaps even better than I had expected given the price. The straw was soft and smooth as if they were freshly made, rather than being old, dried out, and scratchy. The head size was perfect for a range of adults, no one had any problem with them being too tight or too loose. There was a fresh smell to them that was noticeable when opening the bags but not at all offputting. The guests at the event enjoyed them and they seemed to be the favorite accessory at our event. Additionally, we used safety pins to attach different cards to each hat (to denote different teams for a group competition), and this idea worked perfectly on the high brim.
Some additional notes: out of 96 hats ordered, about 90 arrived in great condition. A handful had bent/smashed sides, but were pliable and easy to reset when placed in a stack of straight hats. None were broken beyond simple reshaping. There was a bit of variation in color/shade, from a light tan to a more greenish-beige tone, and sometimes the brims were a bit higher on some than others - but each set of 12 seemed to be uniform and none of these were noticeable imperfections beyond close inspection and comparison amongst all the sets. Also, knowing it is a hand-made item from a natural material, a small amount of variation was expected. The only real drawback is that the shape of the hat doesn't offer any true shade on your face from the sun - but the product photo shows what you are purchasing, and it is obvious from the shape of the brim - which is more like a tall bucket hat than a lifeguard straw hat - and I knew this when purchasing that it was for style rather than function.
I would purchase this item again for another event. The ordering process was seamless and it was competitively priced. We received a great product that everyone loved, and made the event an even greater success!
